ABOUT ARLYN LIGEIA
Ligeia, also known as Arlyn Ligeia, is an independent and multidisciplinary Peruvian artist focused on film, music, fashion, and art. Her creative universe fuses the gothic, the cosmic, and futurism, wrapped in a unique aesthetic.
Ligeia grew up in Moquegua, Peru. During her time there, her refuge was always film and music. She studied Psychology at university and, as complementary training, Audiovisual Communication and Fashion Design and Management. Currently she holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a diploma in Fashion Design and Management.
In 2021, Ligeia directed her first audiovisual work, a music video for an independent band, which marked the beginning of her career as a director. In 2024, despite facing a severe economic crisis, she improvised with what she had at hand and managed to create her first short film. She wrote, directed, filmed, starred in, and edited it herself. That same year, Ligeia applied and was admitted to the Master's in Performing Arts at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru; however, she could not continue her studies due to her financial crisis.
As a result, and after completing a music video and a short film, Ligeia is currently producing her first feature film (written, produced and eventually directed, filmed, starring and edited) entirely by her. Simultaneously, she is working on her debut album and her first fashion collection.
Ligeia draws inspiration from the gothic, the cosmos and technology, as well as from vaporwave, retrofuturistic aesthetics, liminal space and pop culture.
Ligeia's artistic trajectory is a conscious search for inner authenticity. She embraces her femininity along with her interests and passions, without rigidly separating them. Thus, in the face of neutrality and prejudices, Ligeia firmly chooses visual and sensory stimulation as an act of creative honesty and fidelity to herself.
Ligeia defines her art as authentic and visceral, a space where she freely explores female sexual desire. She admires the archetype of the femme fatale and exaggerated femininity, a recurring theme in her work. She refuses to be pigeonholed and opposes any prejudice, convinced that true art arises from authenticity and the fusion of diverse stimuli.

PRIVATE MEETING – AFTER RELEASE
• Private online meeting with the director: Via Zoom – 60 minutes – Discussion about the film and creative process.
DISTRIBUTION
Your name will travel with the film internationally in two versions:
• Digital Version: Cut for global platforms. You will have exclusive access to this version in the Vimeo room.
• Festival Version: Director's cut for the international independent film festival circuit. Your credit will remain intact if the film is acquired by commercial platforms. This cut will not be available to the public.
⚠️ IMPORTANT (Read before buying)
By purchasing this package, the EXECUTIVE PRODUCER acknowledges and agrees to the following:
1. Acceptance of the agreement: You confirm that you have read and fully and unconditionally accept the terms and conditions of the "EXECUTIVE PRODUCER AGREEMENT" available prior to purchase.
2. Nature of the sponsorship: This is an honorific contribution for the promotion of art and culture. It DOES NOT constitute a financial investment, therefore it does not grant rights to financial return, profit sharing, shares, or ownership of the film.
3. Creative control and intellectual property: The production company/director retains 100% of the creative, technical, and executive control. The EXECUTIVE PRODUCER has no decision-making power over the script, casting, final cut, etc. All copyrights and ownership of "ALONE" belong exclusively to the production company/director.
4. Refund policy: The contribution is non-refundable, except in cases stipulated in the agreement: (1) definitive cancellation of the project or (2) failure to release within the estimated window (December 2027).
5. Executive Producer's obligation: To ensure your credit, you must register your exact name in the OFFICIAL FORM within 30 calendar days after purchase. Failure to do so will result in the name on the proof of purchase being used.
